Red (1994) is the final film of the "three colors" trilogy from Krzysztof Kieslowski and brings together a retired judge and a young model after she accidentally runs over his dog. The young woman discovers that he has been listening in on his neighbors' phone calls and is repulsed by his behavior. What follows is a dance of human connections and seemingly fateful synchronicities played out against the backdrop of the evolving relationship between the judge and the girl's moralistic discernment.
